During Xbox’s upcoming sneaker collaboration with Adidas looks like shit, Microsoft also worked with Nike to release something different, something bigger that goes beyond sneakers and includes some pretty nice video game hardware as well.
Called that (deep breathing) Space Jam: A New Legacy x Xbox x Nike LeBron 18 Low Bundle, it’s a big box that has a mismatched, Space Jam-Themed pair of LeBron Lows and an Xbox controller.
I like the shoes! If you want to get wild, you can too go wild, and covering them with contrasting Road Runner vs Wile E. Coyote motifs while showcasing wildly different color schemes on each foot definitely achieves this.
But this is a video game website, not a sneaker website –despite all efforts– and we’re here for the Xbox controller that is included alongside the shoes.

I can’t stress how much I love this. The colors, the illustrations everywhere, the way they worked the ACME bomb into the D-pad, all of it is amazing.
That is the good news! The less good news is that this will be difficult to get your hands on. In fact, it won’t be available through traditional video game retail stores at all; Instead, the bundle will only show up on Nike’s SNKRs app, which is basically a raffle service for people who can enter and try to get one chance Buy shoes they like.
They will go on sale there on July 15th. And if you are interested in finding out about the process behind such a collaboration, Hypebeast Got a great interview that explains The bundle was actually the result of a partnership between Nike designer Jason Petrie (LeBrons) and Xbox chief designer Elliott Hsu, who actually worked together on the controller.
