Lockpicking is one of the first skills that you have to learn and master early Oblivion Remastered. They will first meet closed chests in the underground caves under the prison and then in almost every dungeon afterwards. It is a core component of the game. It is also one of the most cumbersome for some players. However, if you master the mini -game and take out essential skills, you will quickly surround your assets. After all, they will shame the gray fox themselves.
Skills that affect lock picking
If you believe that you spend a lot of time as a stated character like one of the many members of the thieving guild You want to increase your security.
Like all other skills in the game, the security has five levels:
- Beginner (0): Up to four tumblers fall when they fail and break a lock pick.
- Apprentice (25): Up to three cups fall when they fail and break a lock pick.
- Journeyman (50): Up to two cups fall when they fail and break a lock pick.
- Expert (75): Only a tumbler falls when you fail and break a lock pick.
- Master (100): No tumblers fall when they fail and break a lock pick.
You can compensate for the ability by trying lockpicks and speaking with occasional thief or beggar to train your skills in exchange for gold.
How to block successfully
Before you try to break into a treasure chest filled with garbage, which you will probably throw aside to satisfy your weight limit, you must have lockpicks in your inventory. You can find them anywhere, in every sack, a box or an open breast. You can also buy them from dealers if you prefer to spend a little gold for the local economy.

Try to open the chest in question to start the Lockpicking mini game. It is the usual Tumbler and Lockpick setup, as is common in most mini -games for video game barriers at first glance.
Your goal is to push every mug up with the selection until it reaches the tip of the bulky mechanism. As soon as the cup connects to the top, click on your interaction key to set the tumbler. When you are successful, it locks it up and becomes gray so that you can pass to the next cup in the sequence. Repeat the process.
Depending on how difficult the lock is, the number of cups required to unlock the box ranges from one to five. You have to work through every time, unlock and open them one after the other, and if you fail, put the lock back.
Oblivion Remastered Is now available on PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Windows PCs and Game Pass.
