We're just a few hours away from launching one of these Overwatch 2'S most promising competitors in Marvel Rivals. So it makes sense that Blizzard would release a new trailer for the upcoming 14th season of its hero shooter this time around, presumably to stop some of the bleeding. The trailer highlights new tank hero Hazard and some other things that are pretty exciting, even though an alternate game is on the horizon.
Season 14 begins on Tuesday, December 10th Danger is the headliner for a pretty packed few weeks. Players already had the chance to try out the tank during a testing phase last month, but this season the spike-wielding hero will be properly added to the roster. However, for a long time Overwatch Fans will likely be more excited by the 6v6 limited-time mode, which Blizzard is using to test how the old format performs with all the new characters added since the sequel's release in 2022. This season's customizable mythical skin will be Reinhardt's, and it's a nod to Thor, the Norse god of thunder. Reinhardt's ax is designed to look like Thor's hammer, and customization levels let you change his armor, beard style, and even his skin, all of which you can change to a bright blue or orange.
Other notable highlights of the season include the return of the Winter Wonderland and Lunar New Year seasonal events, as well as an update to the Overwatch classic Mode that Resets the game to the old metas. Check out the trailer below:
In addition, there is a teaser for another Crossovers. This time it looks like this Overwatch works with Avatar: The Last Airbender and that Zenyatta will get a skin based on the protagonist Aang. The event starts on December 17th. Notably, there is no sign of the “really exciting skin.” Venture is scheduled to get this seasonbut Blizzard has confirmed it via social media that they'll be getting a skin based on Toph, an earthbender in the series, which makes sense considering Venture's gear is all about digging. It seems their fans will finally get a single crumb after months of nothing.
