It’s time to call your friends from the mines to the battlefield. Palworld Developer Pocketpair announced the game’s upcoming PvP mode on Wednesday. As previously announced, the new mode is called Palworld: Arena and will allow players to put together teams of friends to battle against other players.
Pocketpair showed off the new look as part of the Triple-i Initiative showcase, dedicated to highlighting the work of indie developers. The short cinematic trailer showed two Pals teams ready to fight in a coliseum. After to a tweet from the game’s official X accountthe new PvP mode will be available “later this year.”

The new PvP mode follows the development plan that the creators outlined in January. At the time, the team announced that it had plans to add new features such as raids and PvP to the game. In March, Pocketpair announced the addition of the first raid to the game and now it looks like players will be getting the PvP content this year too.
