Pokémon Go Shiny Shaymin Masterpiece Research Guide

Pokémon Go has added the paid Masterwork Research for shiny Shaymin, “Glimmers of gratitude.” Just like previous Masterwork research, you’ll receive a shiny Mythical Pokémon in exchange for months of hard work.

The $4.99 The ticket is only available until purchased February 25th at 8pm your local time. You have to buy it beforehand and start it to get the quest.

Note that this is not a timed research, although the in-game shop blurb states: “Timed research expires at the end time listed above.” Once you purchase and start it, it will be added to your list of Special Research tasks and will remain available forever until you complete it.

Below we explain whether the Pokémon Go The Shiny Shaymin Masterwork ticket is worth purchasing, as well as all the known steps to complete it.

Is the Pokémon Go “Glimmers of Gratitude” ticket worth it?

According to the in-game note, here’s what you get for $4.99:

• Shiny Shaymin
• 10 Dialga, Palkia and Giratina candies
• 30 Shaymin Candies
• 10,548 XP and 9,840 Stardust
• 2 rare candies XL and 3 rare candies (for trainers from level 31)
• 5 rare candies (for trainers level 30 and below)
• 60 Ultra Balls
• 3 missile radars
• 1 bait module, 1 Mossy bait module, 1 Glacial bait module
• 2 incense
• “And more!”

Note that this requires you to do Masterwork research – which means it will take a long time to complete. These quests are meant to be completed over a long period of time. So don’t expect to be able to do all of this in a day or even a month.

The Shiny Shaymin itself is incredibly rare and worth grabbing if you’re a Shiny hunter. While Shaymin was caught brilliantly Pokémon Platinum And Pokémon Brilliant Diamond And Luminous pearlAccessing Shaymin requires a limited-time event item (Oak Letter) and you must actively search for it by resetting the encounter. Oak’s letter is no longer available. So if you don’t have him in any of these games, this Masterwork Research is the only way to get a Shiny Shaymin for you (outside of trading).

All in all, if you’re good with grinding and like rare, shiny Pokemon, then Yes, the “Glimmers of Gratitude” are worth it.

• Catch a Pokémon (Burmy) for 5 days in a row [sandy] encounter)
• Catch a Pokémon (Burmy) on 15 different days [trash] encounter)

Reward: 1 Incense Stick, 30 Ultra Balls, 1 Rare Candy XL

• Catch Pokémon 7 days in a row (Burmy [sandy] encounter)
