It’s that time of year again. The pumpkins are all smashed, the peppermints are in the mocha, and all Mariah Carey wants for Christmas is you (and her big fat Columbia Records royalty check). That Holiday preseason is officially ours, with offers and discounts on a lot of games, consoles and accessories. Here’s a quick rundown of some of the best gaming deals for Black Friday 2022.
Includes Nintendo Switch bundle Mario Kart 8 deluxe for free
While Nintendo isn’t discounting the console itself, select retailers will a $300 package part of it Mario Kart 8 deluxe and a three-month subscription to Switch Online at no additional cost. The multiplayer racer is the Switch’s best-selling game for a reason, and with a steady stream of new DLC courses this year and next, the game has never been better. The deal is expected to go live in stores and online on November 20 and is likely to sell out quickly.
Nintendo will also be holding a temporary sale, dropping the price by $40 Mario Kart Live: Home Track Sets and discounts on a range of other games. While the full list hasn’t been released yet, we know it will include a 33 percent discount WarioWare: Get it together!

The Xbox Series S is $50 off
The Xbox Series S won’t be the hottest console this holiday season, but it could certainly be the best deal in the end. Normally $300, Microsoft sells it direct and through retailers for just $250. Some of the consoles even come with a free Xbox Stereo Headset bundle, which usually costs an extra $60. New owners can take advantage of the introductory price of $1 per month for Game Pass. And if you want to buy a second Xbox controller, you can currently get a $20 discount.
Microsoft is also offering discounts on a number of first-party digital games. ForzaHorizon 5 is $39, Halo infinity is $30, and gears 5 is $13. Here are some other highlights:

PS5 DualSense is $20 off
Unsurprisingly, Sony doesn’t offer any special offers on the PS5 console itself. its stream God of War Ragnarok and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare II Bundles save you a whopping $10 on the PS5 and games to match, but they’re also quick. However, if you need a new PS5 DualSense, you’re in luck. Normally $70 the controller is now just $50 across the full range of colorways including Cosmic Red and Midnight Black. PS Plus subscriptions are currently 25 percent off in all three tiers.
The offerings are much better on the gaming front. 2022 Horizon forbidden west is already $30 off while The Last of Us Part I, which just released this summer, is $20 off. Here are some of the other standout game discounts:
