The whole point of Sea of Thieves: A Pirate’s Life was that it served as a crossover event between Rares Pirate Game and Disney’s Pirates of the Caribbean Series. But at the end of the expansion there is a secret hiding that has nothing to do with Captain Jack Sparrow, or really Sea of thieves for that matter.
I’m weird because I’d say it’s a pretty big spoiler. So if you’re playing the game and don’t want to find out in advance, get out of here.
However, if all you want to do is see what it is – and it’s very nicely done – then check it out below.
Still here? OK, so when you’re done A pirate’s life, you can explore a shipwreck.

And as you approach this ship, you will hear a familiar tune …
The music! The little traditions! The map! The music! It’s all so very cool, and in retrospect it’s not that far …Sea of thieves is a pirate game, and Monkey island is surely the greatest and most influential pirate game of them all – this should be one Pirates of the Caribbean Joint.
I think Disney owns Lucasfilm means that if you have one pirate property that you can fit into a crossover event, you can smuggle the other in too.
If you can’t see the video right now, it actually ties in with the storyline of the series. The wreck is that of Captain Kate Capsize, a character from Monkey Island 2 who owned a glass bottom boat that the player framed and locked up. This wreck suggests that she … that has not received well, has a new boat, is trying to track down Guybrush and seek her revenge, an adventure that didn’t quite go according to plan as she is in the Sea of thieves.
