It's a unique feeling that one gets when to meet project that seems to be inside your wheelchair, you start to wonder who the hell else is hiding in that wheelchair you think is yours. I've heard this when I stumble across this website
This sounds really like something I would have done, but, I didn't. This is something else and the boy did.
This page is very simple and probably dirty in its planning and execution, and seems to have not been updated since 2008, so it is not a complete list.
It is a fun start, though, and features screenshots from all kinds of games with Beetles somewhere in them, from the arcade Classics where they appeared in the background, as at the beginning of the arcade Double Dragon, documented in almost all of its various ports and modifications:
I liked seeing two different sounds from Atari & # 39; s Paperboy:
And, of course, we all remember many, many Sega Beetles Come out, to destroy all around you:
I'm sure the first example, mentioned on the page, of Beetle in the video game is the 1977 Atari arcade game Super Bug.
Or it turns out to be a good translation (you know, like 16) x 1The 6 matrix) is yellow, of course, because it uses a slightly different color visibility with the Beetle, which stays focused on the screen.
There are many games I have never heard of, in 1997& # 39;s Poems for Sim City, which includes three beautiful low igamesnews Beetles:
I'm not sure who made this small archive, but I suspect they are Germans, who appear in the .de URL and other Käfer references on the page. It's not fun, but I'm glad this is there. There is something less interesting about browsing on this simple page of pixellated screenshots or Volkswagens igamesnews.
