On December 19th diversity exclusively reported that's a quarter sound Film, probably titled Sonic the Hedgehog 4is already in development at Paramount. The next part of the extremely successful series is currently scheduled to hit theaters in 2027.
diversity I didn't have any plot or character details to share about the next installment in the series, probably because there's nothing to share yet, but I'm betting that Schwartz will be voicing Sonic again. I'm less convinced that Carrey will come back as Robotnik like the actor did claimed to be semi-retired and might be ready to move on after three installments. But if you spend enough money, you can get anyone to come back for a cameo.
The previous one sound Movies with Ben Schwartz as Sonic and Jim Carrey as Dr. Ivo Robotnik were very successful at the box office. Together, the films have grossed over $750 million at the box office.
It's crazy to think that the world existed not so many years ago mocks the ugly Sonic as seen in the first trailer, and many of us expected the film to be a flop and forgotten. Instead, I'm writing about the fourth part of a live-action series contains a TV spin-off. Never count Sonic out, I guess.
