Saber Interactive continues to take over for Aspyr Media war of stars: Knights of the Old Republic, This is according to a Bloomberg report. Embracer Group, who owns both studiosindicated the transition to a new developer in his financial report last week.
“One of the group’s AAA projects has transitioned to another studio within the group,” she wrote. “This was done to ensure the quality bar is where we need it for the title. We do not anticipate any material delays to the title as a result of this transition.”
Bloomberg reported in July Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic was “delayed indefinitely” after two directors were fired. Saber Interactive was previously credited with helping Aspyr develop the Star Wars title.
Embracer did not respond to Polygon’s request for comment on the studio change.
