Okay, so this Suicide Squad The game is purely a live service thing…
If you take a step back, it’s pretty obvious that Rocksteady’s Suicide Squad is a live service video game. I don’t think this proposal is controversial. Still, Once again, Rocksteady doesn’t seem to want to admit that they are making a live online video game with relays and multiplayer gameplay. During the interview, Play magazine
“We don’t really think our game fits any particular label,” Sadeghian said. “[Suicide Squad is] still full of DNA permeating that Batman: Arkham series.” We will see.
So why does Rocksteady insist on not calling? Suicide Squad a live service game? Probably because this term is linked to a number of failed games, flops, angry fan reactionsand negative reviews in recent years after companies worldwide began adopting the approach in countless games, you even push it where it doesn’t belong.
While Rocksteady won’t say its new game is a live service, WB is pleased to confirm that it has plans to develop more of these gamesregardless of how the fans feel.
