Phil Spencer, CEO of Microsoft Gaming, says that he is “very supported” by Nintendo with the company's Xbox Games.
During his appearance at Gamerag Radio, Spencer Nintendo's innovation and success with the original switch praised and said he believed that the Switch 2 will also be successful for the company. And although he has not announced Xbox games for Switch 2, Microsoft has already determined a precedent that it is quite comfortable to bring Xbox-exclusive software to the allegedly competing platforms.
Microsoft already publishes Minecraft On a variety of platforms, including switch, and has published two ORI games, Pentiment And GroundedFor Nintendo's console. With the more powerful Switch 2 in 2025, Microsoft was easier to get some of his more technically demanding games like his Halo collection and games and games that were previously only published on the Xbox One and Xbox series X.
Of course, Microsoft has already committed to bring the Call of Duty franchise to the Nintendo platform. Activision Blizzard owned Microsoft has already had some of his games (e.g. Tony Hawks Pro Skater 1 & 2Present Diablo 3Present Overwatch 2) on switch, and it is likely that these titles (or their sequels) could be 2 games. Spencer expects Microsoft Games to “appear in more and more places”, a strong indication that more of the Xbox Strong lineup 2025 could appear on Switch and PlayStation consoles.
