The results of Steam Awards 2023 are in. Every year, Steam turns to the community to vote on the best games of the year in a variety of categories. The role-playing game from Larian Studios was released this year Baldur’s Gate 3 Grab the game of the year while Deadly companya cooperative first-person horror game, received the Better With Friends Award for its co-op gameplay. Horror Game Studio closes due to cyberattacks and poor sales
Just two months after the third-person action horror game Stray Souls When the game came out, developer Jukai Studio abruptly closed its doors, citing myriad problems, including poor game sales and multiple cyberattacks from an unknown perpetrator. The developer went to X/Twitter on December 22nd to announce the sudden closure. Part of the problem, Jukai Studio said, is Stray Souls‘Abysmal reception and sales, which made it “completely impossible for the team to sustain the business.” – Levi Winslow Read more
