Karma: The dark world comes from the small Chinese studio Pollard Studio and this is his first game. At first glance you would not know. It is a psychedelic horror adventure and one of these games that are very difficult to describe in the text.
Karma: The dark world played in an alternative version of ancient East Germany in the mid -1980s. The company is subject to strong control of the Leviathan Corporation, where the employees are constantly monitored and the Bluebottle drug is often used to increase the effectiveness of employees.
You take on the role of Daniel McGovern (a very small German name of the East), an agent name Roam in the Levathan Corporation. His task is to solve crimes, examine the actors and question suspects and witnesses. In other words, the normal work of a detective. However, there is another part that is not entirely common: the Leviathan Corporation has invented an interrogation method in which Agent Roam can travel to the spirit of the person interviewed if it is difficult for him to get the information that he generally only desires if he considers it necessary.

The so -called “immersion” in the question of the respondents is anything but harmless, neither for the respondents nor for the agent. McGovern experiences him first -hand when he examines the scientist Sean Mehndez, who inexplicably lost one of his legs at work. He confirms that it was a monster that took his leg but contested the compensation when the Leviathan Corporation was of the opinion that the accident himself had been to work hard in a normal office position in a normal office position together with the incentive.
After working almost without calm to maintain an acceptable level of effectiveness (for the Leviathan Corporation), his family falls apart and McGovern realizes that there are parts of Mehndez 'explanation that do not cite at all. It is clear that this story is much more than the officer and could be dangerous for all parties involved.

Karma: The dark world begins quite regularly when it can be called, but as we all know, our dreams and memories can be pretty tribos and unorthodox and you are sure to be here. In the course of the game, things are becoming more and more strange and the last third of the game is almost like an art and rehearsal film in which it can be difficult to follow what happens. However, it is very good for someone to really explore the environment, and it can certainly be said that Pollard Studio does it here.
It does not seem to be a current game in any way and has the same pressure atmosphere as observing and the fear of the Polish blber team. It is not frankly creepy or terrible, strange things just happen around them, rooms change in front of their eyes, and inexplicable and uncomfortable situations and stories give the game an intense feeling of urgency and a very special atmosphere.
Seen as a game, it doesn't happen much. They move through various dream worlds that are the memories and thoughts of other people as they explore the environment.
Is more like A Hiking simulator With terror and puzzles, and as such it works pretty well, but it was also difficult to maintain my attention for long periods of time, simply because it doesn't happen much.
What really made me addicted was the really creative and unique world that Pollard Studio built here. The visual effects are great and sometimes quite strange, with many visual effects and a great design. Things such as lighting, chamber angles and slow camera movements are used carefully and do everything really unforgettable.
Karma: The dark world may not be a game for everyone, but if they like games, how to fear and layers of fear and the games that try to transfer the limits of the occurrence of the games, then it is worth taking a look at it. As a game isolated, it is very simple, but as an experience it is something very unique that is not seen very often.
Pollard Studio has not created the best game that China has left in recent years, but one of the special features and is an exciting vision of what the games can be.
