The first season of Castlevania: Nocturne Things didn't end particularly well for Judge Belmont (Edward Bluemel), and it looks like there's more trouble ahead for season two. In the last trailer for Castlevania: Nocturne's second season, Erzsebet Báthory (Franka Potente), now known as “The Vampire Messiah,” has unleashed a war against Paris that will likely spread across the world.
At the end of the first season, Richter and his vampire-killing whip proved no match for Erzsebet, as she absorbed Sekhmet's powers to become a god-like figure during their climactic battle. In the new trailer, the group battling Erzsebet and vampire supremacy quickly realizes that killing them won't be easy, and we see exactly why. In less than three minutes, we see vampires breaking the necks of Parisian soldiers, Erzsebet presiding over legions of demons and vampires storming the city, and more beheadings.
There is good news, however, as the trailer ends with Richter twirling the all-powerful Vampire Messiah in the air with his Vampire Killer Whip wrapped around her arm as he delivers some devastating blows. However, that doesn't mean they all figured out how to kill a demigod. Your best hope of defeating her is to ensure she doesn't reach her full power, and co-showrunner Kevin Kolde said told Tumdu“Alucard (James Callis) will lead Richter and Annette (Thuso Mbedu) to Paris to try to find the final element that would allow Erzsebet to achieve the full power of Sekhmet and become even more powerful than in Season 1 .” ”
Since things look really apocalyptic in the trailer, Castlevania: NocturneThe second season will feature one of the most visually stunning duels between good and evil that we are likely to see in 2025.
