War strategies are incredibly powerful tools for you and your allies Helldivers 2. They can be used indefinitely, but there is usually a cooldown of a few minutes between uses. The catch is that you can only have four equipped at a time when you join a mission.
These stratagems can manifest as bombs, airstrikes, turrets and more, and are key to surviving any mission against the bugs and robots that plague Super Earth. In this Helldivers 2 In the guide, we recommend our five favorite Stratagems that you can unlock and add to your Helldiver.
Orbital precision strike

The Orbital precision strike is the first stratagem you start with Helldivers 2 – it’s the one you’ll learn to use in the tutorial. But even after the tutorial, it’s a great useful item to carry with you at all times and worthy of your precious stratagem slots.
Orbital Precision Strike deals a lot of damage If You can achieve the goal you strive for. But what you lose in accuracy, you gain in pure cooldown. You can use the Orbital Precision Strike every few minutes Helldivers 2making it great for taking out a big bad, a small group of enemies, or spawn holes in the hive.
It’s a simple stratagem and perhaps one of the first you earn, but it’s worth sticking with until you’re sure you have four other options you like better.
Anti-personnel minefield

The Anti-personnel minefield Stratagem is a difficult recommendation here because bad teammates have screwed me over with it more often than good teammates have saved me with it. But a clutch minefield is just too good to ignore.
By throwing one of these at the entrance to an area you want to defend, you can completely protect a zone from enemies. Either they go through it and the mines explode at their bottom (removing the threat), or they avoid the mines and take a detour. Win, win.
However, you must be extremely careful when placing these mines, as placing these mines on a target in a panic or through a busy area of the map can result in your teammates being trapped and blowing them up. Powerful but dangerous. I recommend completing a few missions alone to keep track of the mines, otherwise your friends will hate you.
Recoilless rifle

The Recoilless rifle is great for killing large, armored enemies like warhorses. It comes with a backpack full of ammo that either you or a teammate can carry. If you’re accurate, you can use the recoilless rifle (basically a bazooka with a scope) to punch a hole in the enemy’s armor. It is extremely effective.
Now, the recoilless rifle isn’t particularly good at killing enemies if you hit their weak spot. So you should actually aim at a warhorse’s head or leg armor to kill it. Still, the recoilless rifle is a great tool in the early parts of the game for dealing with big, nasty bugs before you have many other options to inflict major damage on a single target.
Gatling sentries

The Gatling sentries is a powerful tool for locking down an area Hell diver 2, and it can penetrate enemies faster than almost anything other than an explosion. However, just like the mines, the Gatling Sentry can be very dangerous if you’re not careful.
The most common use of a Gatling Sentry is to defend the launch pad while you try to extract it at the end of the mission or wait for an objective to be completed. Or you can drop it near a nest and watch it mow down countless insects at once, or drop it while you’re fighting a boss so it can shoot while you chase the monster around.
The problem with turrets is that they aren’t smart enough to tell if there’s a Helldiver between them and the bug they’re shooting at. So if you get in the way of the turret or a bug is chasing you and the turret sees it, it will cut through both of you. So, as with all stratagems, be careful.
Eagle airstrike

The Eagle airstrike is one of the best early investments you can make Helldivers 2. It comes with two charges and allows you to summon what is essentially just a bomb attack. These bombs shoot across the ground and hit a huge area. It can kill tons of insects with a single shot and can also close multiple tunnels.
What makes the Eagle Airstrike so good is that once activated, it only takes a few seconds for the plane to arrive and drop bombs, making it easy to react to the Beetle’s unexpected movements and take out fast targets.
The big caveat here – aside from how easy it is to kill teammates in a bombing run; A common theme in this guide is that once you use the two chargers for Eagle Airstrike, the battle cooldown will expire over a longer period of time. Once the ship has refueled a few minutes later, you will have two more loads available. But that downtime can leave you in trouble if your Stratagem gets stuck on cooldown when you really need some explosions.
A bonus tip for the Eagle Airstrike is that you can enter a separate Stratagem command to actually reload sooner if you only used one bomb. So if you don’t use the Eagle Airstrike for a few minutes while en route to a target, send it to resupply so you’re ready for successive airstrikes as soon as you need it again.
