I loved the Taslos principle 2, absolutely everything. It may be strange that the first thing he does in a review of a sophisticated new edition of the first game should mention his sequel. But there is a reason to do it. I do not intend to reduce the importance for the success of a puzzle game because it has a fantastic sequel. The point is that we are offered a rowing of the first game, and this version appears after playing its sequel, which is even better. I think this perspective continues to look like a sensible starting point. If this affects general classification, it is an impossible equation.
As soon as this has been clarified, this does not mean that the Talos principle: Rewakened is a worse game at all. But when I play this remake, I find it impossible not to see how the Saga has developed and improved in most aspects since then. The whole premise is really the same; They go through extravagant environments and in small closed areas there is a complicated puzzle. They only start with an inhibitor that uses electronic components. It can be an electric field that prevents it from approaching, or for example a floating bomb that explodes when you approach too much. Deactivate these obstacles with the transmitter and you can reach the end of the puzzle to collect your Tetris block price.
These pieces are collected to unlock new areas. However, they also serve to unlock new objects with which you can complete the numerous puzzles of the game. It also speaks about a high tower and a dark voice, self -proof, almighty, which stipulates that they should not investigate under any circumstances because their death would mean.

The Taslos principle leaves the puzzles aside and delves deeply about philosophy and existential questions. The dark voice mentioned above speaks to them as if it were a god, and the various environments are full of computers that moan about the disappearance of mankind. Although in the main controls of a robot and you are an eyelet, there is a lot of free will and there is an underlying story that is not told directly. If you want, this story is to discover them and immerse themselves in them through dispersed terminals and memories that can be found in the various environments.
Despite all of this, the puzzles of the game are the focus of attention and the main star with which they can talk. Here the Taslos principle gets everything brilliant and fantastic that a puzzle lover can want. The game takes place in the first person in three dimensions and you have to be aware of your surroundings, but above all you need to know the objects that you are available. Every time you enter a new area, you must first explore it to find the necessary tools to solve the puzzle, but also to get an idea of how things should be placed. In addition to the inhibitors I have already mentioned, there are some other objects that are often repeated and used. One of them is a coupler with which you can join the light beam light of different colors. Then there are also puzzles that are based on directing the sound directly to open a door or activate something. Other objects in which puzzles are built are a cube that can be used as printing plates or so that they or other objects can reach a larger height.
Then in a way we may have the most advanced object of the game: a terminal in which you can record what you do. First of all, it is quite easy because you start recording, carry out an action and then, when you click on “Playing”, repeat everything that you did. It's like a visual copy of your robot that does exactly what you have just done. To illustrate it, we can imagine that there is a printing plate on which you have to stop to open a door. You have to take up, you will be at the top and if you reproduce it, your copy makes what you have done before, and the door is open to cross it. Thanks to a brilliant function, you can also create small break points that you do not have to hurry and you can resume the actions that you simply carry out. Like all puzzles, it becomes very easy, but it quickly becomes much more difficult.

Sometimes puzzles are based on a single object. Sometimes they are mixed and there are often several objects that correspond to environments. Everything to challenge, vary and create new ideas. Because this is how the Taslos principle works. A puzzle introduces the mechanics and then more elements are added, or there are fewer elements, but they become more difficult to complete. You have to find the right angles in the laser rays, do things in a certain order and find out how an object is used in a back phase. And so forth. There are many puzzles that bring the hair to the end, but they are always logical and of course feasible, sometimes in different ways. Above all, they are very torn and entertaining.
The only thing that bothers me a little is the puzzles that contain an object that could be called mortal threat. The floating bombs that I previously bound and also a weapon that hangs on the top of the walls, which acts as a camera and observed an area. If you enter its reach, shoot them and lose them. Thanks to an ingenious return system, you can always start over before killing you a pump or a machine gun, but the fact that you completely eliminated these elements in the sequel to give a little that you may not be completely satisfied with your function. Everything works better if you can solve it in time without waking your progress patroling and hindering your progress. Of course, of course, you also add a complicated element to find out.
Another little inconvenience is that the possibility of creating your own puzzles or sharing others is not available in the console. These are available in the PC version, so I mention them if it is particularly interesting. Although the possibility of creating your own puzzles would not have been included in the console, it would have been appreciated to take care of what others did. But in reality there is no complaint with the content. Because principles: Rewakened comprises the expansion road to GEINNA, but also a completely new addition, which is mentioned at the beginning and, in addition to really brilliant puzzles, also increases the entire construction of the world of saga.
In many ways, remastering is to wash a laundry for the game. The border between remastering and remake can often be difficult to judge, but since the game, apart from a few small aspects, maintains exactly the same puzzles and the same feeling, it is probably closer to the remastering, although the visual section has received a big improvement. It is not only a larger solution, but also solid work was carried out. The textures, the light sources, the details and, above all, the vegetation of the environments have received a real improvement. All of this seems to be without a new game, since most environments and architecture in the original match. There is also incredibly atmospheric music that frames everything in a great way.
If you have played the original and remember many of the solutions for the puzzles of the game, this may be one of the reasons why it is not important to acquire it. Since all puzzles are basically the same, well -decorated environments may not be something that is worth it. But as a package with extensions and new content, it is very complete. It is a smaller and somewhat simpler game than its brilliant second part, which is really expanded every part and, in my opinion, is better. But if you reduce everything, it's still the same concept. It offers you some fantastic puzzles and a really pleasant face washing that is worth trying. Although it followed something bigger and even better.
