In 2008 GameFAQs user EpitaphILIP had an idea: What if, instead of buying a cup of soda from Taco Bell and just drinking it, he bought a refillable cup, built an apparatus that went from cup to cup in one Shoulder bag led hidden container, and continued to pour one whole ton from Bergtau.
And not just any Mountain Dew either. The limited Baja Blast flavor that was only available at Taco Bell at the time, which means you can’t take it home and enjoy it whenever you wanted. Unless you somehow managed to do it take a whole bag home with you
With the help of other users, they managed to come up with a solution that involved taking a Taco Bell soda cup home, removing part of its bottom, and then taping a hose into the bottom. This hose led down EpitaphILIP’s sleeve and into a pocket where a huge container was waiting, ready to hold all the mountain rope.
EpitaphILIP was only left with the act itself, with the biggest remaining obstacle being overcoming the weirdness of a guy who walks to the soda machine and holds the button down for minutes without his cup ever filling.
This story just has so much to offer. The community dedication to helping him solve technical obstacles like gravity affecting the flow out of the pipes in the container and how to keep the soda from flattening out upon arrival The fact that he actually filmed the venture with a digital camera. The childlike, extreme 2008 innocence he was afraid of being caught – and if it was even stealing since the mug technically offered free refills – when he uploaded the video to YouTube.
