Despite the different name, Strategists fulfill the same role as a support: they ensure that your team is healed, use useful effects such as revives, damage increases and other improvements. However, not all seven are the same. Even on the game's release weekend, some superstars rise to the top. Here are the two best strategists in the gamekeeping in mind that a lot could change in the game's evolving meta.
Rocket Raccoon is the second best healer
Despite what his foul-mouthed and aggressive exterior might suggest, Rocket Raccoon cares about his friends. So it's incredibly fitting that he makes it as the runner-up for best strategist in the world Marvel Rivals. His healing grenade launcher can quickly heal multiple allies at once. And his ultimate can help increase the damage of all surrounding allies, which can be a huge boon in teamfights.
However, Rocket's best asset is its revival ability: the Battle Revival Beacon. The BRB can revive a single fallen ally and also produces armor packs. The Beacon has a 45 second cooldown, but preventing even one death is a huge boon. It can also help turn a costly mistake into a minor inconvenience. Adam Warlock has similar strengths in this department – particularly with his team-up ability – but Rocket's ease of use and flexible healing output give him a slight edge over the Golden Guy.
Jeff the Land Shark keeps your team healthy better than anyone
It's incredibly hard to recommend anyone but Jeff as the best healer in Marvel Rivals. This is the second time Jeff has made a big splash in a year competitive multiplayer Marvel game. That's not much, but it's strange that it happened twice.

What makes Jeff so great comes down to one thing: speed. Other healers like Loki and Cloak and Dagger also heal with their primary fire, but all have much less ammo. On the other hand, Jeff only has a sustained beam that needs to be reloaded much less frequently. This allows him to focus on a strong tank and let it wreak havoc. This is in addition to his high movement speed, supported by his movement ability, which allows him to swim underwater and heal himself in the process.
And to top it all off, there's his ultimate. There is no way to make this sound fancy or formal. Honestly, it's absolutely crazy that this is a hero shooter. Jeff can devour both enemies and allies (in one very generously sized area) and spit it out wherever he wants. Nine times out of ten, this results in enemies being thrown off a cliff and a number of teammates dying. It can certainly change the outcome of a teamfight in an instant. Don't let his cute face fool you. Jeff is an absolute menace.
