Twitch removed the extremely popular emote “Pogchamp”
Here is the tweet in question where Gutierrez directly calls for “riot” for a “#MAGAMartyr” after a shootout that happened earlier in the day (he is referring to it) A woman was shot dead in the Capitol).
A couple of hours later, Twitch made the decision to remove the emoteciting “statements from the face of emote that encourage further violence after what happened in the Capitol today”.
“We want the feeling and use of Pog to live on – its meaning is much greater than the person or image it depicts – and it has a big place in Twitch culture,” it continues. “However, we cannot continue to allow the image to be used in good conscience.

Twitch says it will “work with the community to create a new emote for most of the hype moments on Twitch.”
These tweets didn’t appear out of thin air; Nathan’s excellent piece in May detailed some other crazy shit Gutierrez said recently including:
Towards the end of the stream, a guest, fighting game veteran Ryan “Gootecks” Gutierrez, decided to explain in detail why more and more people believe Bill Gates is involved in a covert, vaccine-based population control system. During that process, he said he was just “giving the information,” not necessarily approving, but after Niknam responded to his game and said everyone should vaccinate their children and themselves, Gutierrez said, “I think everyone should be free to do what you want with your body. “
