Veilguard statistics show that players ignore the griffin
Morrigan, Rook and the Inquisitor confront Solas.

After all the carnage, Solas, the former party member turned antagonist, still wants to tear down the veil and unleash a horde of demons on Thedas. Once you've tracked down Solas's memories at the crossroads and obtained the essence of Mythal, you can talk him out of it, which most people have been able to do. Over 72 percent of players made this choice. However, if you either haven't completed these quests or just feel like screwing him over, you can either fight him or trick him into binding to the Veil using a decoy Lyrium Dagger. 17 percent of players chose to trick him, while only eight percent chose to engage him in combat.

The remaining three percent received the “sacrificial” ending, which ends with Rook sacrificing himself to ensure Solas is bound to the Veil. This is only possible if you lose too many people while attacking Minrathous.

Among the 72 percent of players who had redeemed Solas, 43 percent of players had an Inquisitor romance Solas and join him in The Fade. 57 percent of players had an Inquisitor who either had a romance with someone else (or no one) or couldn't convince the Inquisitor to forgive them.
