Whispers of the Taken 3 Taken Blight locations in Destiny 2

The “Whispers of the possessed“Quests are weekly Destiny 2 Missions to help you further improve your skills Whisper of the Worm Exotic. To complete it, you’ll need to visit Eris Morn on the moon, defeat some Taken, and then complete some Taken Blight sets in the Legend version of “The whispers“Mission.

In this Destiny 2 In this guide, I’ll tell you how to complete Whispers of the Taken and where to find the special Blights.

If you want an additional upgrade to the Intrinsic perk, you will also need to find Oracle locations in The Whisper.

Whispers of the Taken 1 Blight Locations

Immediately after obtaining Whisper of the Worm from the mission “The Whisper”, the game will instruct you to talk to Eris, who will then give you the quest “Whispers of the Taken 1”. Completing this quest will give you the following Field Preparation Advantage. for Whisper of the Worm, which you can use to replace the mulligan advantage when crafting.

The first step in searching is finding 30 essences taken, which you can earn by killing all Taken enemies (check the Dreaming City to do this) while you have Whisper of the Worm equipped. Note that you don’t need to use the Exotic sniper to get the kills, but you do need to have him in your heavy slot.

Once you’ve obtained all of the Taken Essence, you’ll need to destroy a set of three Taken Blights hidden in the Legend difficulty version of The Whisper. At this advanced difficulty level you only have 20 minutes

So, to find the Taken Blights and complete the mission, look ahead and know where you’re going before you start.

Once you’re ready, start The Whisper on Legend and make sure you have Whisper of the Worm with you.

Plague 1 and 2

The Taken Blights that you need to destroy for Whispers of the Taken 1 are available very early in the mission. All three are before you destroy the large Taken Blight and jump into the hole. So don’t continue that far into the mission or you’ll have to start over.

When you first enter the cave on Io, go forward and kill the Taken Thrall that appears. Go to the ledge and immediately look down. As long as you have completed the “Essence of the Taken” portion of the quest before starting “The Whisper,” you will see a small ball of Taken energy floating in the air (labeled ” #1 in the picture above). Zoom in and shoot it with Whisper of the Worm.

From where you filmed Taken Blight #1, Look up and to the right, directly under some branches. You will find the second Taken Blight for this set floating in the air (labeled with #2 in the picture above). Shoot it.

Once you’ve shot the first two Taken Blights, hop over to the cave on the left where you’ll find a Taken Phalanx. Don’t go into the hole, walk towards it. If you can see the great Taken Blight, turn around and turn your back to it. Look ahead and you’ll see the little Taken Blight ball between the trees (labeled ” #3 in the picture above). Zoom in and shoot it.

Once you destroy the Taken Blight, the next step for Whispers of the Taken 1 will appear, asking you to complete The Whisper on Legend. Do that, return to Eris and you will unlock the field preparation for Whisper of the Worm.

Whispers of the Taken 2 Blight Locations

After you complete Whispers of the Taken 1 with Eris, she will give you Whispers of the Taken 2, which counts as a reward No distractions

Perk for Whisper of the Worm. The quest objectives here are exactly the same as the first, so get a few Taken kills with Whisper of the Worm equipped and prepare your loadout for The Whisper on Legend.

This time, however, you’ll need to find a new set of Taken Blight balls, which are much further into the mission. Look ahead so you know where you are going.

Plague 1 and 2

Make your way through most of the jumping puzzle in The Whisper and into the infamous “green room” that appears immediately after jumping into the portal holes. Instead of quickly exiting the green room via the shortcut I pointed out in my mission guide, look straight ahead.

They find the first Taken Blight floating in the middle of the room As soon as you walk in. (It is labeled as #1 in the picture above). Once you’ve measured it, zoom in and shoot it.

You can shoot the second Taken Blight from the same vantage point. Look in the middle of the room and you will see a large crack leading to a large, round hole. The next Taken Blight (labeled as #2 in the picture above) floats in the middle of this hole. Zoom in and shoot it.

For the third Taken Blight, walk forward to the large ball in the middle of the room and then turn around. Near the ceilingIn the direction you came from you will see a Taken Blight floating in the sky (labeled with #3 in the picture above). Zoom in and shoot it.

Now, just like the last quest, you need to complete “The Whisper” on Legend and then talk to Eris. Once you do this, it will grant you the No Distractions perk.

Whispers of the Taken 3 Blight Locations

Once you complete Whispers of the Taken 1 and Whispers of the Taken 2, Eris will give you and reward you with Whispers of the Taken 3, the final quest in this quest line Enlightened action Perk for Whisper of the Worm. The quest objectives here are exactly the same as the first two. So get some Taken precision kills with Whisper of the Worm and equip your loadout for The Whisper on Legend.

There’s another set of Taken Blight balls for this version of the quest, and they’re located in the second-to-last encounter chamber – the one right before you jump into the boss room.

Plague 1

Go through The Whisper until you reach the large room with the Triangle in the middle. Defeat all enemies until do not jump into the triangle pit as this will lead you to the boss room.

Instead, head back to the entrance to this area so you can overlook the pit. Contact her Right and you will find the first Taken Blight ball. Zoom in and shoot it.

Go to where you filmed Taken Blight #1 and stand at the edge. Look over the edge the platform and to yours Left. You will see the second Taken Blight ball floating right next to it. Zoom in and shoot it.

From where you filmed Taken Blight #2, turn to yours left and look up Towards the ceiling. You will see a bronze pillar sticking out of the side of the wall. Behind the pillar – or to the right from your perspective – you will find the last Taken Blight ball. Zoom in and shoot it.

When all nine Taken Blight balls are destroyed, hop into the pit, defeat the final boss, and complete The Whisper on Legend again. Return to Eris one last time and she will grant it to you Enlightened actionthe final advantage for Whisper of the Worm.

All done? If you want an additional upgrade to the Intrinsic perk, you will also need to find Oracle locations in The Whisper.
