By now you’ve probably seen some of the online hype Baldur’s Gate 3, but one particular point of discussion had nothing to do with the game’s combat or conversation mechanics. Instead, players rejoiced when Larian Studios revealed that you could romanticize Halsin the druid in his bear form.
It’s no surprise this went viral and people declared Baldur’s Gate 3 named Game of the Year and praised Larian’s bold creative decision. With no context, the cutscene falls so far outside the realm of typical video game romance that it’s absurd. It’s a bit like a game that gives you something Fun dolly disguise gear that also holds up in dramatic cutscenes

Baldur’s Gate 3′S Bear Bonanza proves that people don’t just want well-done romance – they also want to indulge less banal Fantasy.
