Microsoft released a new update for the Xbox One screen yesterday that made the recently-played games easier to find and removes much of the previous waste that was taking over the market.
The three cables that used to make the home screen have been closed and moved. Now, in the center, there are two tiles that are made of the most popular used apps and games alongside a few ads, and the Game Pass, Mixer, and Store tabs are available in rows below that. I always enjoyed the Xbox One interface, and if Microsoft were to introduce me to "amazing deals," at least that square now combines better with other formats.
Game Pass, Mixer, and Store lines can also be replaced with custom lines dedicated to specific games or features. The game library has been easy to customize as well. Now divided into games, apps, and download subscriptions (from services such as Xbox Live Gold, Game Pass, and EA Access), the full list of your software is very easy to browse.
The development of some stimulants may be more cohesive. In accordance with change notes, you can now control where notifications appear on the screen so that they don't hide anything you play or watch too much. Similar Game Pass anthologies Shenmue I & II
The update as a whole surprised new Xbox One users last February. It's also exciting to see Microsoft still developing and improving the console interface even with new hardware coming out later this year. The PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch home screen, meanwhile, have been left untouched since their first launch.
