Final Fantasy VII Rebirth arrived at February 29, 2024, and it’s been a pretty great time since then. Today, March 21, 2024, sees Rebirth Get a new patch that includes some features you should try out and some fixes to character abilities, including new options to keep you safe Mini games much easier to play.
This guide will go over all the optimized areas and aspects of the game that you should check out. Some elements of the patch, like general bug fixes, are a little harder to “test” accurately, but there are some new options here that you should definitely explore.
And no, I’m sorry, Chadley is Despite it in this game despite a new patch that could have solved this problem (you can skip his calls although!).
Try out the new graphics mode options
Always since the demo coming to the digital shelves of the PlayStation Store, RebirthThe graphics got people talking. In my review of the gameMy regret was that Performance mode was just too soft and blurry, making the slower frame rate of “Graphics” mode preferable. Of course, fights are much easier to read and play at a higher frame rate.

I’ll test out the new visual options to see if my opinion on them has changed at all. Stay tuned Our guide to graphics options for an update.
The patch notes also list general visual improvements as well as an overall more stable frame rate. So if you’re like me and aren’t terribly offended by a 30fps frame rate, graphics mode might look a lot nicer to you anyway.
Red XIII has received some combat buffs
The new patch highlights two Red XIII Abilities, Supernal Fervor and Guardian Spirit as they were previously canceled too easily by enemy attacks. These should now be easier to activate after the patch.

Red can acquire both of these abilities through the Amethyst and Mystic Necklace, respectively. The first one can be found in the Old South Corel Mine in Chapter 7 of Rebirthwhile the Mystic Necklace can be found in the Hall of Distraction in the Cave of Gi.

Enemies could put up a bigger fight
If you have played so much Rebirth Like I did, you may have noticed that enemies sometimes show a strange tendency to simply do nothing. For me, this was most evident in the solo battle arena beneath the Corel Prison.
The new patch fixes “certain conditions that would cause enemies to freeze.” So yes, some fights might be tougher across the board – just in time for most people to prepare for them a hard mode run!
Try new difficulty levels in Fort Condor and Gears and Gambits
Fort Condor and Gears and Gambits (very similar strategy fighting games) are known to be a bit difficult for players. Today’s patch adds difficulty options to both of these games, making it a little easier to get through them if they’re too hard.
Even if you’re completely lost on Gears and Gambits, check this out Our guide to this mini-game can be found here.
Thank goodness: the reverse camera controls are also carried over to mini-games
If you’re a reverse Y-axis camera girl like me (or a guy, or someone else), then you’ve no doubt been frustrated by this Pirate’s Rampage and Glide de Chocobo Your camera control configurations were ignored.
That is no longer the case. Now Pirate’s Rampage and Glide de Chocobo will properly detect your correctly inverted camera controls.
Today’s patch notes also describe various bug fixes, such as: B. fixing some text issues in the game, although not, it seems, the extremely confusing “Replay Battle” screen (which we have). There are also instructions here). Apparently it was also possible to lock yourself out of certain sections using a soft lock. All parts of the main story should now run without any major problems.
