Hi, my friends. We at NetRealm are so excited to continue achieving everyone's robot robot dreams with the introduction of RoCC in Mortal Kombat 11: After, our new expansion. We just dropped a new gameplay trailer featuring RoCC, along with Fujin and Sheva, who are all coming to Mortal Kombat 11 on May 26.
I remember watching the film “RoboCop” when I was a kid, even though I was very young when I saw it. In fact, I liked the movie so much that I requested a RoboCop game on my Amiga 500 but found playing it twice before the disk was damaged. So, it's good to finally play as RoCC in Mortal Kombat 11: After.
ED-209 provides backup.
I'm far from being the only RoCC follower on our studio. A few artists in my group have ED-209 and RooCop models on their desk. We also explored one of these images to use as a reference for the Ed-209 display you'll see in Mortal Kombat 11.
Being able to scan and record Peter Weller as a ReboCop model, as well as talking to him about the role, was critical. It gave me a good understanding of what it was like to play a character, which allowed us to capture the essence of ReboCop. As a bonus, he gave me a breakthrough course in Italian Renaissance art while he was in the studio scanning. You may not know this but Dr. Weller has a Ph.D. In the History of Renaissance Art and Roman History.
Mortal Kombat 3 Cyber Ninja RoboCop
With our guest posts, we always make sure that we give players as much of a character as real and authentic as possible. Mortal Kombat 11 RoboCop Pallets: Aftermath is a great example of this. As RooCop fans will remember, the original film "RoboCop" featured a gray suit, and the "RoboCop 2" outfit was huge. You will find both of these options in Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath Expansion. As is often the case with our guest characters, RoboCop also gets a sort of NetherRealm Studios, this time it's a different Meal Kombat 3 Cyber Ninja RoboCop.

We had a lot of workloads in RoboCop, taking as many character references as possible. And we are very excited that our fans will play everyone's 80's dream of a cyborg, which coincides with RoboCop against Termiler.
