Demo trailer of Albedo, the newest pretty boy from Genshin Impact, available via gacha banner for a limited time from the 1.2 release until January 12.
miHoYo released Albedo’s character demo trailer ahead of its release in Genshin Impact version 1.2 (PC, PS4, PS5, Mobile, Switch soon). The trailer is masterfully directed as ever, and the quality of the steering has increased even further. Maybe in a couple of years, some of the people who run these at miHoYo will end up being big names in the anime industry. Like some of the best AMVs of the nineties they were made by talented people who later became prolific anime directors.
The video shows Albedo and her alchemist abilities, which translate the gameplay into Geo’s elemental abilities. As usual, when both versions of a Genshin video are available, we include both the Japanese dub and the English dub of the trailer below.
Genshin Impact – Albedo Character Demo (Japanese, English)
The Character Tales video for Albedo, which reveals more about him, and the Collected Miscellany video, which will delve into his abilities. will come at a later date. There seems to be no specific order as to why they are posted. When version 1.1 was released, we first received the trailer for Character Tales for Childe before its demo and collected miscellany. In either case, we’ll make sure to let you know as soon as we can when both are published.
Genshin Impact will go into maintenance mode for five hours on December 22 at 5pm ET (click here for a time zone conversion table). We detailed everything you need to know about the update, The Chalk Prince and the Dragon, with our previous coverage.
Notably, Albedo Gacha’s banner will also feature Bennett, by far one of the most efficient characters in the game thanks to his Elemental Burst. Give him a set of Noblesse Oblige Artifacts and he’s rolling.
Ganyu banner will start in mid-January. Lastly, miHoYo also detailed the changes that Zhongli and Geo characters like Albedo will be affected with in Ver 1.3 CBT. However, keep in mind that everything is subject to change until version 1.3 is rolled out in February 2021.
The Chalk Prince and the Dragon
