Activision has annual free access announced Call of Duty with a blog post listing the different modes that will be available and their respective dates.
In fact, the online mode is available right now for all players without having to be subscribers of PlayStation Plus or Xbox Series X, also you do not have to have the game, so it will be a whole week of access for everyone.
First stage
During the first part, which runs from 17 to 21, everyone will have access to Gunfight, Team Deathmatch (With Nuketown and Mall included, and Domination. Gunfight will include all the maps with its usual tense tone in which four players divided into teams of two face in tight spaces.
Team Deathmatch is the classic competition mode between two teams of at least 6 players with a great variety of maps and Domination too, only that the latter wins by conquering areas of the map instead of killing enemies.
Second stage and bonuses
Now from 21 to 24 these game modes will be maintained and other less known ones will be added: Prop Hunt, Combined Arms: Hardpoint and Dirty Bomb. The first one faces two teams in which some camouflage themselves and try to escape from the map and others hunt them down.
Hardpoint takes you to huge maps where you must capture moving areas and lets you drive all kinds of vehicles and Dirty Bomb consists of delivering uranium and exploding bombs to win points in a 40-player game without teams.
Finally, we must talk about the bonuses for playing. Double general and weapon experience from December 18 to 21, and double experience for the battle pass from December 22 to 28. Keep in mind that free access ends on the 24th, so the remaining four days can only be used in Call of Duty Warzone, which is free.
PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 players will have access to one hour of earning double the experience that can be activated by the brother-in-law that suits them best.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War is available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S, and PC. And you can take advantage of free play time on any platform.
