In recent weeks, ‘Boku no Hero Academia’ has been busy showing all the content about the villains that the My Villain Academia arc offers, but that does not mean that there is no room for heroes.
With the trust lost by their protectors, the inhabitants do not stop expressing their discontent, a situation that we saw in the conference with Endeavor and Haws, and that now translates to those in direct contact with victims of the villains.
On l ast weekend’s episode, UA students offered their lives to rescue the most helpless, but even those with nothing left to lose rejected their helping hand.
Faced with such a division, only one heroine could unite both factions and that is none other than Uraraka Ochako, who to break the ice revealed the true reason why she wants to become a hero.
The open heart of a heroine
In the past, Uraravity commented to her classmates with aspirations for greatness that her only goal in being a hero was to amass large amounts of money to provide for her family.
While she didn’t sound as noble as others in Class 1-A at the time, this time she added a little more to what it truly means to be a hero to her by showing us her past.
With both parents mired in poverty, the first time Uraraka saw them smile was at a heroic act in the street, so becoming the symbol of peace meant filling those she loves with joy.
The story that balances the economic stability of a large family with the purpose of reflecting the same happiness they have to the world, broke narrowed the division between heroes and civilians that they so badly needed.
