We are excited to announce a major update to the new BoxVR content today, adding 12 new features and over 140 minutes of new music. BoxVR is a real box-inspired boxing game, which transforms your PlayStation VR into a fiery hot trainer, challenging players to chase, weed, wind, boat and stairs during a great workout.
Based on popular player applications, BoxVR will receive over 40 new music tracks that travel across a wealth of genres, including 80s Electro, Rock and Metal. To open up the voting in the game community, we asked our players what kind of music they wanted to sweat on, and after a huge social media response, the top pick has now been added to this major update.
These tracks will be introduced with new adrenaline-pumping uses to use music to create the ultimate electronic. Workouts have been decorated by fitness trainers to bring a real workout from your home
Ianthe, our Head of Fitness, launched her fitness challenge in January. We will enter a new phase every day – increasingly stronger and longer each month. Check out our social channels to participate!
Designed to be used by players with varying levels of fitness, BoxVR gives users the opportunity to exercise at home, carrying a wide range of different programs and lengths for the remaining player and five other people in real challenges. Players can also create custom uses, advance their limits and add endless content to the game.
"BoxVR has made a real impact, extending the industry edge far beyond what many would expect from Hardware. We have proven that not only is there a dedicated and multi-disciplinary community, but that the power of VR is endless." -Sameer Baroova, Founder of FitXR. "We are very excited about working directly with the community and developing an original experience with new content, and are eager to see how our players engage and train with them."
BoxVR has been awarded Best VR Fitness Game of the Year by VR Fitness Insider and has grown into a community of over 100,000 customers looking to revolutionize their VR experience.
