Each Call of Duty title features weapons, battlegrounds, and more in an effort to push players to shoot the enemy and win. Each Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War game mode encourages players to kill the enemy for points and experience. While aiming and cooperating are part of the game, its core is still heavily skewed towards being a total shooter festival. Still, one player has been tasked with avoiding this objective entirely and playing without firing his weapon.
In a Pilgore1 post on Reddit, the player shares a screenshot of his current score in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War. While it seems like a standard profile at first, players quickly noticed that they have absolutely no eliminations, a prestige level of one, and a win ratio of over 1.0. With 37 hours and 200 matches to his credit, this player has managed to avoid killing anyone and successfully prestige his level despite the game being a competitive shooter.
To achieve this, a player must be extremely dedicated to his cause. The player likely focused on objective-based game modes like Hardpoint and avoided Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War modes like Team Deathmatch and Free-for-all. This would allow the player to accumulate the most points and not be a burden on his team.
This is by far one of the most unique ways to tackle a Call of Duty title. While it’s clear, based on their win / loss history, that they were playing, the other players in the lobby are sure to notice the lack of kills. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War may be using a recycled formula, but at least its fans are finding new ways to enjoy the game.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War fans continue to impress the wider community with their individual skills. While this player took pacifism to the extreme, he has inspired other members of the community to experiment and find fun new ways to watch the title grow.
