‘Princess Principal: Crown Handler Movie 2’ is gearing up for the second of its six confirmed tapes, revealing its release date with a promotional video.

Set for September 23, the film will be available in 46 theaters around Japan like its predecessor, ‘Princess Principal: Crown Handler Movie’, on February 11.
Throughout this saga we will follow the events after the queen’s assassination attempt and the use of men who engage in espionage becomes more frequent within the kingdom.

Like its predecessor, ‘Princess Principal: Crown Handler Movie 2’ will feature a team full of experts from the world of animation starting with Masaki Tachibana, who returns from the original series.
One of the most important changes is that of Ichiro Okouchi, the scriptwriter of the TV series of ‘Princess Principal’ and the hit ‘Code Geass: Hangyaku no Lelouch’, is replaced by Noboru Kimura.
Kouhaku Kuroboshi excels at designing the original characters, while Yukie Akiya adapts the final product to anime with the help of Kimitake Nishio, chief animation designer and director.
Yuki Kajiura (‘Mahou Shoujo Madoka ★ Magica’) returns to compose the soundtrack with Yoshikazu Iwanami as sound director.
