Crytek just announced that the remaining two installments of Crysis will also receive a remastering and will arrive in a compilation pack as a trilogy. And is that the first Crisys is already available and remastered for more than a year, but now it will be relaunched with the rest of the original trilogy this fall.
Crysis 2 and Crysis 3 will receive the same enhancements, adaptations to current resolutions, unlimited FPS, various graphical enhancements, and more. As we said, the study did not communicate an exact date but did reveal that it will be available by the end of the year for all platforms, including the Switch.
Crysis challenges PCs
The study did not comment on whether those who have the first Crysis will receive some kind of discount and at this point it does not seem possible. The Crysis saga is well remembered for being a delivery that made the most of the graphics of a PC at its launch in 2007. Now it comes back looking even better so the “can it run Crysis” meme will certainly also return.
Crytek also provided a summary of the saga for those who never tried it at the time. The Crysis saga is one in which we control “Prophets”, soldiers equipped with a suit that gives us very useful skills to kill aliens, enemies in all three games.
In this way, we are facing a saga where we embody the almighty hero through different scenarios that show off the artistic direction of the studio and the design of levels and enemies. In Crysis we can use a wide variety of weapons and the Nanosuit that will give us super strength, super speed, armor and, the most remembered skills, invisibility.
Crysis Remastered Trilogy is coming to PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC. In addition, the study promises optimizations for PS5 and Xbox Series X / S. You can see the trailer below.
