After the massive wave of confusion that set in over Hitman 3’s release for PC, Tim Sweeney claims they discussed it with IO.
The Hitman 3 announcement, including Hitman 1 and 2, was great. However, that has come with some limitations and confusion, especially if you are buying the game for PC.
Because the Hitman trilogy has had a different publisher for each release, this has brought some interesting problems when trying to get all the games in one package. Here’s a description of the situation in the shortest paragraph I can muster.
Hitman 3 will be released as an Epic Games Store exclusive. If players pre-order or purchase the game within the first 10 days of launch, they will get an access pass for Hitman GOTY that will allow you to import all missions and locations into Hitman 3. If you already own the first game on EGS , you will already get the Access Pass. For Hitman 2, players will have to purchase an Access Pass regardless of whether they own the game or not. Players will then need to link their Steam account to an IO account and then transfer their saves.
Now that all of that is out of the way, Tim Sweeney, CEO of Epic Games, has responded to the criticism, stating that his team is in talks with IO about the situation.
He states: “Sorry, the team is looking into this with IO. It is never Epic’s intention to create a situation where someone who owns a game on Steam has to buy it back from the Epic Games Store to get the full benefits. “

Hopefully, many of the issues listed above can be fixed. Nothing can end hype more than a massive wave of confusion among consumers about price. Many mainstream players will buy the title and expect to get those other two titles with no additional cost or limitations.
Hitman 3 estará disponible en PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, Switch, Stadia y PC.
