Everything about Inazuma – iGamesNews

igamesnews, Inazuma

Hello travelers! On behalf of the entire Genshin Impact team, we are very happy to share with you that Inazuma, the highly anticipated third city of the Seven Big Cities, will finally arrive with the next version 2.0 The Immovable God and the Eternal Euthymia in July. 21.

Today, for the first time, we are going to show you the unique cultural landscapes of this great city completely surrounded by the ocean and the beings that inhabit it. In the meantime, we would also like to share some of the latest features and support added to PlayStation, including the cross-save feature between PlayStation, PC and mobile.

The nation that seeks “eternity”

As Mondstadt believes in freedom and Liyue honors contracts, Inazuma and his ruler, Raiden Shogun, the Electro Archon, pursue eternity. But what prompts the Archon with the power of ephemeral lightning to seek eternity? As the story unfolds, this will be a theme that runs through your adventure in Inazuma.

Unlike the eternity pursuit of his almighty Shogun, Inazuma is a place where you can find fleeting beauty everywhere. Unlike the clear sunny days of Mondstadt and Liyue, the weather in Inazuma changes rapidly and dramatically, tinting the landscapes with a strong sea breeze, flickering shadows and lights, and raging thunderstorms in the blink of an eye.

The Inazuma region consists of six main islands and a series of islets scattered across the ocean, each with a unique landscape and history. You can visit the Grand Narukami and Sacred Sakura Shrine on the mountain of Narukami Island, or admire the cherry blossoms and the magnificent Tenshukaku where the shogun resides in Inazuma City. You can also observe the giant skeleton and palpable aura of the Tatarigami on Yashiori Island where the Raiden Shogun fought a great serpent, or cross the desolate coast where the ruins of the war in Tatarasuna lie. You can also find yourself lost in the area surrounded by thunderstorms, or stumble upon huge mysterious underground areas and ruins hidden under the surface of the sea.

With version 2.0, we are only releasing three of the six main islands of Inazuma. There are many other landmarks and places with distinct landscapes, stories, secrets and their respective ties to the history of Inazuma and the Electro Archon waiting for the Traveler to explore.

Living things in Inazuma

Inazuma is ruled by the Electro Archon, so purple has become the dominant color for many local species affected by the power of the Electro element.

This vast land isolated by the ocean is also home to unique and peaceful animals very different from the creatures of Liyue and Mondstadt. Due to Inazuma’s unique location and traditions, you may also encounter beautiful animals that coexist in harmony with the locals.

However, not all sentient beings come in peace. Across the Inazuma Islands, travelers will inevitably encounter wandering samurai and even a new branch of the Fatui.

Meanwhile, new enemy bosses will be added to the map for travelers to challenge and get more rewards. The Hypostasis family will see a new Pyro member join – the Pyro Hypostasis. Oddly enough, the Perpetual Mechanical Array and a few other oddly shaped machines similar to the Ruin Guards of Mondstadt and Liyue will also appear in Inazuma. In addition to new enemies, after debuting in version 1.6, Maguu Kenki will also be found as a world boss and a source of character level materials in Inazuma.

A new chapter in your journey

We hope to make the new areas more fun, including the latest Archon quests as well as side quests for players to explore. But before you embark on a new adventure, we would like to introduce you to three new reliable companions, Ayaka, Yoimiya and Sayu from Inazuma, who could join your party. Not only can these three characters become valuable assets in your daily battles and explorations, but Ayaka and Yoimiya will also make their debuts in upcoming Archon quests.

Kamisato Ayaka is a long-awaited character who is familiar to many fans since the closed beta testing. Ayaka is the daughter of the Kamisato clan of the Yashiro Commission, a branch of the Tri-Commission under Raiden Shogun. Wielding the power of Cryo and a sword, Ayaka was often conceived of as dignified, elegant, wise and strong. However, she also has her own concerns and desires like other young girls her age.

Yoimiya is the other five star character joining version 2.0. She is a pyrotechnic archer and an expert in fireworks. Known as the Queen of the Summer Festival, Yoimiya excels in her art of creating fireworks that symbolize people’s hopes and dreams. The final character, Sayu is a four star ninja character who wields an Anemo vision. Despite her small size, she can handle a giant clay bigger than herself.

Along the way, you will also experience various new puzzle solving gameplay. Unlike Mondstadt and Liyue puzzles, Inazuma puzzles do not require you to have a character on your team who can use specific elemental powers to solve the puzzle. Successfully solving the puzzle only requires a little of your wisdom to make good use of all the clues and objects around you!

If you want to take a break from your journey, we strongly recommend that you revisit your kingdom in your Pot Serenitea. With version 2.0, you can now collect plant seeds via a special container gadget and grow different plants in your kingdom once you’ve cultivated fields with the help of Chubby, the spirit of the teapot.
