Stranger of Paradise, a new perspective on the Final Fantasy saga

As we said in recent weeks, Square Enix had prepared for this E3 2021 a final fantasy spin-off with a very different point of view from what the RPG saga has accustomed us to. The Japanese company presented the new project to close its Square Enix Presents Stranger From Heaven: Final Fantasy Origin, an action game that shows itself with a playable approach very close to sagas like Nioh or Dark Souls.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin is in charge of Ninja Team (Koei Tecmo), responsible for the Nioh saga, and its launch is scheduled for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. It has been made public that Tanto Tetsuya Nomura like Kazushige Nojima, also involved in Final Fantasy VII Remake, are part of this project, which aims to reinvent the first installment of Final Fantasy.

The approach is very similar to souls, enemies and powerful bosses games whose movements have to be very well studied to be able to finish them, as we go through labyrinthine scenarios in a dark fantasy world. Stranger From Heaven: Final Fantasy Origin will arrive in 2022, although a demo will be released later this year on PlayStation 5.
