New 2021 battleground aims to set the scene for the ne ar future
Despite the fact that DICE has yet to comment on the matter, all rumors suggest that the new Battlefield episode will arrive this same 2021 and that we will have a first trailer this spring. Thanks to supposed leaks, we’ve learned a lot of information about what the new installment will offer, but it wasn’t until a few hours ago that a few images purportedly taken from a trailer for the game were made public. .
On the one hand, we have an image with rocket launch, seen from a first person point of view, from another vehicle. The other image shows us a coastal map bombed from the air, with the presence of combat drones. The two images, if their authenticity is confirmed, would confirm an open secret: the new battlefield will take place in the near future, perhaps 10 or 15 years in advance, with the presence of new military technology in development course.
Bigger Multiplayer Battles, Looking Sideways at Battlefield 3 and 4
Data revealed by well-known insider Tom Henderson suggests the new episode would simply be called Battlefield (unnumbered) and that I would bet on a campaign that would completely break with what has been seen in the saga so far. In Battlefield we would be part of a specialized unit, we could choose what “super power” we added to our abilities and we would have to choose which route we want to take; be recruited by Russia or the United States. Everything indicates that the new campaign mode would be cooperative this time.
Multiplayer, according to Henderson, would feature bigger and better battles, which would be described as a return to Battlefield 3 and 4, but “on steroids”. He also ensures that there would be a Battle Royale mode in development, but that it would have nothing to do with Firestorm (as of Battlefield 5). In this mode, players could choose between four types of soldiers, with different abilities that would give us special advantages in combat.
