Hi everyone! We're Parallel Circles – a small studio from Spain and the UK – and we are about to launch our first game on PS4 on January 14th.
The past few months and months have been a rollercoaster for us. After working on AAA development for a long time we decided to take a long time to start a personal adventure. We launched our own 2-person indie channel, Parallel Circles, and started working on our dream project: a well-designed platform game with solid controls and a lot of care put into a feel-good game, to be played by yourself or enjoyed by your friends and family.
This is how Flat Heroes got its start and we are now very proud to finally introduce it to the PS4. We have put a lot of love, affection, and work into this project so we hope you enjoy it as much as we did to create it.
So what are Flat Heroes? Flat Heroes is a game that involves a few minimalistic heroes trying to survive the wave behind a constantly changing enemy wave. It's fast-paced, it's amazing, it's multitasking, and it's really fun. Especially when you share a play session with your friends. There will be a lot of shouting, some challenge and a lot of things to overcome, you have our word on that.
Since this is the first game of our small studio, we have tried to incorporate everything we love into our games. If we had to describe our dream game with gameplay we would definitely show you the Flat Heroes. And it's packed with content: unique display modes and multiplayer modes, over 300 levels of hands and multiple boss epic battles, conflicting modes, and unlimited levels to prove your skills and add your scores to leaderboards. We put all our love of games into this indie gem.
So far, it has been a wonderful experience to find our own studio, create the game we love, show it to people around the world at events and festivals and get a very positive and positive response. Seeing how people react positively to something you did was magical for us so we wanted to bring it to as many players as possible. This is why we decided to bring it to PlayStation and its love domain soon.
In the end, even before we forget, we know that Flat Heroes is hard to imagine just in words and pictures of little cubes still flying, so we put together a free demo for you to try it out on your own or with some friends and see if that's great!
