With just a little over a month to go, PlayStation and developer Guerrilla Games released a new trailer for Horizon Forbidden West today. In recent weeks, PlayStation has released a series of videos in this style that highlight different aspects of the upcoming action-adventure title. This time around, the latest trailer for the game has chosen to show some of the many tribes Aloy will encounter during her new expedition to the west.
In total, this new trailer for Horizon Forbidden West is just over two minutes long and features footage that was captured in-game and running on PlayStation 5. While we can’t see any current gameplay footage, the video highlights a number of different towns, sights, and other areas of this world that players will be able to explore. In doing so, it also shows some of the people who inhabit these areas and describes what their way of life is like within the given region.

“From the border settlements of Carja and Oseram, to the devastated fields of Utaru in Plainsong, to the battle-worn Clan Lands of Tenakth, new alliances and deadly enemies await,” said Guerrilla Narrative Director Ben. McCaw of Horizon Forbidden. West will have in store. “The people of the Horizon World are divided into tribes, each of which has its own history and traditions. As Aloy travels to the Forbidden West, they will meet even more attractive characters, ”said an additional explanation from PlayStation.
As mentioned, Horizon Forbidden West is fast approaching its release date, which is February 18. When the game arrives, it will hit the PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 platforms.
