Hello everyone! I’m Ben, and I’m a great city to share our big news: KeyWe is coming to PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4 on August 31st.
What if you scroll through this post thinking, “Huh… A game about two kiwi birds running a chaotic mailroom?” Tell me more! Then buckle up, because that’s exactly what I’m here to do – including the very first details on the functionality of our DualSense Wireless Controller for PS5.
KeyWe is a comfortable co-op game in which you play as Jeff and Debra, two industrious kiwi birds who work in a fun and frantic post office. Jeff and Debra must work together to type telegrams, send urgent messages, ship packages, and keep mail moving to the residents of Bungalow Basin.
You can play KeyWe with a friend in local and online co-op, as well as single-player, while progressing through the changing seasons of the Postal Calendar with the help * of the colorful cast of fellow creatures who join you. on your shifts.
(* Some of these are totally unnecessary and should be fired immediately, but Telepost Station Manager Buck Hamm likes to keep them.)
The PS5 version of KeyWe will also take advantage of the haptics and adaptive triggers of the DualSense controller to allow PS5 gamers to really get a feel for the Telepost desktop. What exactly do I mean by that? Good…
Kiwi feet on hand
Being a hardworking kiwi has its perks, but theft is not one of them. Instead, feel every step Jeff and Debra take with it pitter-patter vibrations as they rush into the mail room. We’ve all wondered what it would be like to hold a fluffy little kiwi – well, this is (probably) the next best thing.
Keep the mail going (in more than one way)
Never underestimate the strength of a determined mailbird. Jeff and Debra spend a lot of time pushing and pulling packages around the mail room, and you can feel it with a rolling haptic rumble to make your movements even more immersive. Jeff and Debra might be short, but you’ll feel how powerful they are too.
These features of the DualSense controller are Snow Joke
With no hands to help them, Jeff and Debra will have to use slingshots for a chance to fight against their colleagues in the annual Telepost snowball fight. And with the DualSense controller, you can feel the tightening tension as you shoot your slingshot to get the perfect shot. These team building exercises keep getting more and more competitive.
This bubble wrap will not test itself
Glowing bubble wrap is one of the finer things in life, and with the DualSense controller, you’ll be able to feel every pop-pop-pop while you perform routine quality checks. And no one can even blame you for being boring. It’s your job after all.
Ready. Goal. Fire!
Telepost has unorthodox means of moving mail, including the patented Envelopauncher. Feel the satisfying recoil of a well-thrown letter whenever Jeff and Debra pull that slamming contraption. Do not point it at anyone’s face.
Also, very important, you can dress up your kiwis. We’ve packed KeyWe with lots of cosmetic items and accessories that you can unlock and become the best dressed birds in Bungalow Basin. We’ve got some awesome items for pre-ordering players as well, including Buck’s Big Bushy Beard, Cassowary Cowl, Zuni the Baby Octopus (she rides on her back), and the Experimental Mail Pack: a gadget that when equipped, unlocks. new objectives for you to test its mysterious properties, like hunting magnetic disturbances, collecting static charges or escaping hungry singularities.
We’ll have a lot more to show you on KeyWe as the launch approaches, but until then, we at Stonewheat all hope you are excited to meet Jeff and Debra and get started on the Telepost co-op calamity in August. 31.
