Now, players can take a look at what Ubisoft has in store for Hyper Scape this December.
Earlier today, Ubisoft released a new Hyper Scape trailer revealing the Winter Festival Event with music, weapons, emotes, and new skins. The trailer embraces the Christmas spirit with a lighthearted, light-hearted tone that brings the characters into winter-themed settings and even the choice of music. The trailer itself is short, but it shows the game’s celebration of the holiday season.
The content of the Hyper Scape Winter Festival Event trailer is mainly full of animations of the game characters participating in some Christmas-related activity with classical music from Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker. The characters are skating, jumping, and dancing happily, with a quick shot of one sipping hot cocoa on a snowy balcony.
There’s even a character snowboarding and another jumping for joy before moving on to the real action. Once the trailer reaches the halfway point, it begins to show battles with all the mayhem of the fast-paced Hyper Scape game on display. It begins with the nutcracker robot emerging from a snowmobile at high speeds before chaos breaks out. Characters shoot each other with high-tech mini-pistols, grenade launchers, rifles, and more.
However, the action is swift before the trailer ends on the release date of the holiday event: December 15-29. The trailer mainly shows winter and Christmas skins for Hyper Scape characters and a new entry vehicle for players. Players can search for the role for the event in the futuristic battle royale. This new trailer comes on the heels of Ubisoft’s latest update, which added cross-play in Hyper Scape last week.
This update was part of a major plan by Ubisoft to review Hyper Scape. The new automatic crossover feature is intended to make matchmaking between console players the standard in the future. However, PC gamers can only join when invited by other players via friend lists. This means that multi-platform players will also be able to join in on the fun in the winter madness.
