Un poco más de Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomoshibi
‘Toji no Miko: Kizamishi Issen no Tomoshibi’ was released in March 2018 across Japan, telling the story of sword-wielding shrine maidens who have exorcised ‘aradama’, strange monsters that have threatened the human world since ancient times.
Today, things are a bit different, these young women still exist, but now they wear school uniforms, carry a sword called “Toji” and serve an official unit within the police force.
As a “special religious service police squad” the government authorizes the Toji to use swords and serve as civil servants, establishing five schools across the country for girls to attend.
Girls live normal school lives, while occasionally fulfilling their duties, wielding their swords, and using various powers to fight and protect people.
In the spring, the five schools send their best Touji to compete in a tournament and as the tournament approaches, all the representatives are rigorously trained to strengthen and improve their skills.
