Konami resurrects a forgotten episode of Castlevania, but only for Apple devices
Konami has just announced that Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls It will arrive soon on iOS devices via the Apple Arcade subscription, but without giving a specific date at the moment. This is a new installment in the saga, announced by the company in 2018 and which made a low-key debut exclusively in Canada a year later. After its release it was withdrawn, but now Konami resurrects it exclusively for Apple devices
Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls es independent delivery with a cooperative and competitive 4vs4 mode that follows Konami’s plans to keep the saga low-key, and there aren’t any new console titles since Castlevania Lords of Shadow 2 in 2014. At least this latest installment hasn’t Looks bad at all and many gamers will be able to enjoy it via Apple Arcade (much better than seeing such an important series for video games reduced to pachinko machines).
The story of the Grimoire of Souls takes place in a future where Dracula is no longer a problem and the world lives in peace. However, Genya Arikado, our protagonist, who works for a secret agency of the Japanese government, receives a letter assuring that Dracula will be resurrected. Our task will be to investigate who is behind the letter and to solve the mystery. Castlevania: Grimoire of Souls follows the classic gameplay of the series, with a 2.5D graphic style; the game will allow you to control such beloved characters as Alucard or Simon Belmont
