Today is the day the highly anticipated Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon S series hits the small screen.
The continuation of the adventures of Miss Kobayashi’s dragon maid is one of the stellar productions of the summer season 2021. With its premiere, Kyoto Animation gave fans a small gift.
By presenting the opening and ending of the series free of credits on its official YouTube channel, the fans were given the opportunity to fish all the details of each of them.
It is worth remembering that its last edition had a warmer reception in territories such as the United States or Europe than it had in Japan in its first broadcast of 2017. Proof of this was the meager presentation of merchandise related to this series, despite be quite full of attractive female characters.
Firing controversies in networks
Before even being released, Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon S already has two instances of controversy on social networks for its content and reaction from the younger fans of the series.
In the first instance, the design of the new character Iruru sparked controversy due to the size of her breasts in relation to the rest of her body, by not matching the proportions of her bust with “the body fat that she should have.”
Even with complaints from fans that Kyoto Animation had done its design work poorly, the situation did not reach the extremes of its second controversy. In early March, commentators on TikTok celebrated the tragic fire at Kyoto Animation Building 1, due to the presence of childlike characters in the play.
However, none of this seems to have stopped fans of the series, who have waited for more Kobayashi-san Chi no Maid Dragon material for a long time.
