The judo road could be just around the corner. According to a leak the manga ‘Mou Ippon! (‘”Ippon” again!’) Will have an anime adaptation soon.
If you’ve followed the latest ‘Mou Ippon!’ You will know that the manga has an important announcement scheduled for this July, which to date has not been revealed to fans.
It is while waiting for this that the well known news leaker, Ryokutya,
According to Ryokutya, the announcement will arrive without a release date and without a confirmed study for the adaptation, so even if it is confirmed, fans will have to wait several weeks before knowing all the details.
A little more Mou Ippon!
‘Mou Ippon!’ began its publication in October 2018 in Akita Shoten publisher’s Shounen Champion magazine with mangaka Yuu Maruoka doing the story and illustrations.
Currently the manga is still in publication and has compiled a total of 12 tankobon volumes, the twelfth and last one to date in April 2021 and which takes us to the competitive world of judo.
In the story Sonoda Michi was planning to retire from judo after she failed to achieve satisfactory results during the national elementary championship.
At a defining moment in her step into adolescence, Michi is led by the hand of her best friend, Sanae Takigawa, and her championship opponent, Eien Hyoura, back to judo, returning to the discipline she loves so much.
Although she is carried away by what seems like good intentions from her classmates, the reality is that the school club is about to close, so they need as many members as possible if they want to continue practicing discipline.
