Today marks a particular step for us with outsiders. After years of sweat, love and implacable passion, we are proud to reveal the first official gameplay teaser of our next narrative adventure game, Mukti.
And yes, you can wish it today on PlayStation Store.
A preview of Mukti
Mukti is not only a game. It is a journey of discovery, redemption and the impact of stories hidden in an exploration in the first person taking place in the authentic backdrop of an Indian museum.
After the mysterious disappearance of his grandfather in the midst of the charges of odious crimes, Arya returns to find the museum he had vandalized and abandoned. Through the silent echoes of the past, it brings together a story of inheritance, compassion and obscured truths, questioning everything she knew about her existence. What truths reside in the grandfather's museum?
As the story takes place, you will discover layers of mystery, ancient secrets and a world that blurs the line between myth and reality.
Of India, for the world – supported by Sony
Mukti is proud to be part of the prestigious Hero project of Sony India, selected for this program not only gave us the fuel to give life to our vision, but also reaffirmed our conviction that Indian stories belong to the world scene.
After more than a year of work in close collaboration with the fantastic people of Sony, the trip was simply insightful and full of learning. Now we are delighted to finally give you an overview of what we have made behind the scenes.
Built for the big screen
On PlayStation 5, Mukti is designed to fully exploit the power of Sony equipment. Our immersive environments, our intense sequences and our emotional scenes are supposed to be lived in 4K, with reactive orders that attract you directly into the heart of history.
We also work in close collaboration with the PlayStation team to ensure that features such as DualSense Haptics and adaptive triggers raise the experience, by feeling the impact of each hit in combat to the subtle tension to resolve puzzles and discover truths.
