Apex Legends will receive a new weapon called “Rampage” when the Emergency season begins on August 3. It is a light machine gun created by Rampart herself and while it is a slow firing weapon, it does come with an innovative feature that allows players to load a termite grenade into it. Before the start of the new season, Respawn Entertainment shared a video showing more of this weapon and exactly what players can expect from it.
Respawn partnered with content creator staycation to produce the following video showing the Rampage in action at the shooting range. It has 46 rounds when equipped with top-tier accessories and puts out a continuous stream of fire, but fires slower than any other weapon in Apex Legends.
Meet Rampart’s newest invention: the Rampage LMG. Not only does it pack a punch, but a surprising source of firepower as well. 💥

For those looking for the tough numbers, it deals 42 damage to the head, 28 to the body, and 24 to all limbs. For comparison, the Spitfire LMG does 36 on the head, 18 on the body, and 14 on the limbs.
The real trick the Rampage boasts compared to other weapons is how it cooperates with Thermite grenades. If you have one handy, you can load it onto the weapon to speed up its rate of fire.
On the Apex Legends YouTube channel, Respawn and Electronic Arts shared a separate preview of what the weapon can do as part of the first game trailer for the new season. It showed the Rampage breaking down doors, so don’t expect to be safe behind them when Season 10 begins.
“And there’s a lot of chaos for everyone – thanks to overmining, World’s Edge is crumbling under the feet of the Legends,” Respawn said of the new season. “Seer isn’t the only one with an eye for potential: Rampart took the opportunity to invent a new light machine gun that turns termite grenades into literal firepower. Call it the Rampage. “
Apex Legends: Emergence is scheduled to begin August 3 on all platforms.
