Genshin Impact Version 2.3 will bring two new playable characters to the roster, Arataki Itto and Gorou. Both characters were already officially revealed on the official Twitter account a couple of weeks ago.
A more recent post on Twitter has revealed the Genshin Impact Version 2.3 announcement featuring three characters: Traveler, Gorou, and Albedo. This confirms all previous leaks claiming that Albedo will finally stake a new banner replay.
This tweet also confirms that Albedo will appear in the first banner of the next update, which means that players will have to wait a couple of weeks to get their hands on the new five-star character Arataki Itto. Albedo has been a part of the game since the Dragonspine event in update 1.2. Its splendid support capabilities are the reason the majority of the community has been asking for the banner to be republished.
In this program we will introduce you to the new content and updates of version 2.3.
We will also broadcast the show on our official YouTube channel on November 12, 2021 at 11:00 (UTC -5). >>>https://t.co/yfJ5Xu9hAt

Albedo, Gorou, and Itto could throw a big party with Itto as the main DPS and the other two would fill the supporting roles. Having a group of characters using the same Vision is generally considered bad, but it actually works with Geo thanks to the unique elemental reaction Crystalize, which works independently of all other elements. Adding another strong Geo character like Zhongli could make this team one of the strongest team comps in the game as they can pierce through any kind of elemental shields.
Arataki Itto has been leaked multiple times in recent months and players will finally get a chance to shoot for him. When it comes to its Elemental Burst, it will provide a buff for a couple of seconds, similar to Razor’s or Beidou’s Elemental Burst. The buff will allow his normal, charged, and submerged attack to deal geographic damage. For the duration of his Elemental Blast, Itto’s Attack will increase based on his Defense stat, meaning that players can find a use for all the strong Defense stat artifacts they have previously acquired. The biggest downside to this Elemental Burst is that it will cancel once Itto leaves the field, meaning players won’t be able to quickly switch through their party to deal even more damage.
Itto’s ascension attribute will be critical damage, which could make him one of the strongest DPS characters in Genshin Impact. This means that you will get critical damage for each level up. Your DPS potential will increase exponentially with each level, which is usually the case for characters who have this ascension attribute. Genshin Impact update 2.3 should drop around November 20.
Genshin Impact is now available on mobile devices, PC, PS4, and PS5. A version of Switch is in development.
