The month of August has just started, which means PlayStation is now bringing an entirely new roster of games to its ever-growing subscription platform, PlayStation Now. After a massive July in which seven new titles arrived on PS Now, Sony has ticked things off in August and is instead only adding three new games to the service. Still, these three new games are largely exceptional and should be highly appreciated by subscribers.

Starting tomorrow, August 3, the three new games joining PlayStation Now include NieR: Automata from Square Enix, the action platformer Ghostrunner, and the beloved indie Undertale. All three titles will be available to download and play on the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 platforms as they belong to the era of PS4 hardware. While some games on the service must be streamed over the internet in order to experience them, PS4 titles have been able to be downloaded natively to your own console using PlayStation Now for quite some time.
The biggest note with these three new additions comes with how long they will remain on PS Now. Normally, many titles that arrive on the platform have a certain useful life and will disappear after a few months. Fortunately, most of the games on this list seem to stick around in perpetuity. Only NieR: Automata is scheduled to leave PlayStation Now in the future and will disappear on November 1, 2021. Undertale and Ghostrunner will remain available for download for quite some time and have no intention of leaving the platform anytime soon.
In general, if you are not yet subscribed to PlayStation Now, the cost of entry is not that bad. Typically, the service only sells for $ 9.99 per month. Rather, you can also subscribe for a whole year for $ 59.99. Subscriptions can be purchased directly through your own PlayStation console or you can purchase a prepaid card at most retail stores.
