Arc System Works has revealed a new trailer for Guilty Gear -STRIVE-, which shows the gameplay of Anji Mito. In this we can see the mythical movements of the character of the Daisuke Ishiwatari franchise receiving the graphic adjustments that it did not have in the last generation, since since Guilty Gear XX: Accent Core Plus R we didn’t see Anji in action.

Who is Anji Mito?

Anji Mito is one of the few characters, who come from a Japanese blood lineage. This is because there are currently few left and those that still survive are under the protection of the government. Thanks to this, they do not receive the same treatment as other citizens. Previously, it has triggered a rupture of thought within the Japanese community, as some accept this treatment and others reject it.

Anji is part of the latter, because beyond worrying about the survival of his peers, what he wants is that all human beings regain their freedom. For this, Anji Mito hides her nationality while traveling the world chasing the mysterious character known as “That Man”. This is the person most responsible for the disappearance of the Japanese people in the universe of Guilty Gear.
